During his tenure with Flint Energies, he served as Assistant Secretary-Treasurer, Secretary-Treasurer and Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors. He was a member of Montezuma United Methodist Church.
“William Brown was a true gentleman, a tremendous businessman, and a generous friend. As Chairman of Flint’s Board, he was amazing in the vision he possessed and just how far he could see forward from a dirt road in Macon County. Mr. Brown was a definite giant in the foundation of Flint, and he is already deeply missed. We are better for his being a leader of this cooperative and we stand taller on his shoulders to pursue our purpose that he so strongly believed in.” said Bob Ray, President/CEO of Flint Energies.
Visitation is scheduled for Saturday, September 20 from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Watson-Mathews Funeral Home in Montezuma. Funeral services will be held Sunday, September 21 at 3:00 p.m. at Montezuma United Methodist Church in Montezuma.
