Northside High Ranked One of Nation's Best High Schools

Northside High Ranked One of Nation's Best High Schools

Northside High School made the U.S. News & World Report 2013 list of the best high schools in the country.  Of the 21,035 public high schools examined by U.S. News, the magazine named Northside High School as a silver medal winner.  The school is ranked number 1,850 nationally and 38th in Georgia.

Schools were awarded gold, silver or bronze medals based on state proficiency standards, such as the Georgia High School Graduation Test (GHSGT), and how well the schools prepare students for college.

“We work hard every day to give all of our students the best opportunities to be successful,” commented Principal Dr. Greg Peavy.  “This is a result of all of our faculty and staff members at Northside keeping student achievement at the forefront of everything that we do.”
