Houston Co. Organization Offers Floor-Laying, Painting Workshop |

Houston County Habitat for Humanity is calling all women for a special build event this month. They're offering two workshops for women to learn how to paint and floor-laying skills.

Houston County Habitat for Humanity will host Women Build events on March 15th and 16th located at 126 Orchard Way. We are calling all women to “kick off their heels and pick up a hammer.”

Home Depot has partnered with Houston County Habitat for Humanity to provide two workshops/clinics designed for women to learn painting and floor laying skills.  The painting workshop will be on March 16 and the floor laying class will be held on 23 March.

For more information or to sign up for the build events or clinics, contact Hope Hicks, Houston County Habitat for Humanity volunteer coordinator, at 478-328-3388. Each clinic is limited to 20 participants. Registered volunteers should wear comfortable clothing, closed toed shoes and bring a ready-to-learn attitude. All supplies will be provided on site.
