Black Friday is only a couple of days away. 

Here are a few safety tips to keep in mind while you shop this holiday season: Tip #1:   Shop with a partner or group.  Shopping in numbers greatly reduces your chances of becoming the target of a crime.  
Tip #2:  Park in a well-lit area.  Choose parking areas that have adequate lighting.  
Tip #3:  Keep vehicle doors locked and valuables out of sight.  Don't make your vehicle an easy target for criminals!  Put valuables and packages in your trunk and out of sight. Always keep your car doors locked. 
Tip #4:  Be aware of your surroundings.  Crime can happen anywhere at anytime.  Be mindful of those around you.
Tip #5:  Report suspicious activity.  Never be afraid to contact 911 if you feel a person or package is suspicious. You never know when you can help deter crime.
