SR 96 Lane Closure for Road Resurfacing
The Georgia Department of Transportation announces that work on a resurfacing project is in progress.
The project resurfaces about 6.815 miles of SR 96 starting at Double Gate Drive and extends to the Twiggs County line.
Work is scheduled for 7 p.m. tonight, Tuesday, October 16, nightly through Friday morning at 5 a.m.
The contractor has scheduled a single lane closure eastbound near the City of Bonaire.
