Warner Robins Man Appears on 'The Price is Right'

The price was right for a man from Warner Robins.

Thomas Nelson got the call to "come on down" during a recent taping of 'The Price Is Right'.

Nelson and his wife Janice were on vacation with family in Los Angeles, when they decided to attend the popular tv game show.

The retired Robins civil service worker says he never imagined his name would be selected.

Nelson properly bid on a bicycle, then had a chance to win a car but decided to take a $3,000 cash offer instead.

He says the experience was one he will long remember.

"The fifth person they called was called Thomas Nelson. Well, I never saw it," said Nelson. "My sister, my wife and my sister in law saw it and I looked down and said 'Oh no, that is me' and I said 'Oh Snap! That is me!'"

Nelson has already received the bicycle and is still awaiting the cash prize.
