Three Houston Schools Miss AYP
News

Three Houston County schools missed making adequate yearly progress this year, the state Department of Education says.

That's three more than last year.

The state says 33 of 36 Houston schools made AYP. That's up from 32 this summer. In June, the state said Warner Robins High School was on track to miss AYP, but Friday's final results factor in summer graduations and test re-takes.

Northside High, Perry High and the Houston County Career and Technology Center all missed AYP in the final results announced Friday.

Last year, all of the district's schools made AYP.
