NY Father Runs In Daughter's Honor, Stops In Warner Robins
News

A New York man made his way down to Warner Robins to take on a challenge with his own two feet.

54-year-old Guy Fessenden says he's running 100 marathons in 140 days.

He says it's all for his daughter, who has spent the last seven years in a psychiatric hospital.

Fessenden says one out of every four Americans has a form of mental illness.  He says he wants to raise money to improve their quality of life.

He started at Tybee Island on Oct. 2, and says he plans to finish up in Santa Monica, California on Feb. 19.

Fessenden says he runs a marathon each day for three consecutive days and then rests on the fourth day.
