8-Year-Old Injured in Warner Robins Hit-and-Run
News

A Warner Robins girl is in stable condition after police say she was involved in a hit-and-run accident Friday evening.

Warner Robins Police Department spokeswoman Tabitha Pugh says it happened on King Drive just before 7 p.m.

She says 35-year-old Reginald Smith was driving his truck down the road when the girl ran out in front of him.

Pugh says Smith hit the girl, left the scene, and returned an hour later.

She says he was arrested and charged with hit-and-run, leaving the scene, and failing to report an accident with injuries.

Pugh says the 8-year-old is in stable condition at the Medical Center of Central Georgia.
