69-year-old Fred Veator has made it a goal to visit every courthouse in America.
So far, he's off to a good start, picking up some in nearly every state.
He's done it all on his motorcycle.
"There's two states I haven't been to courthouses in: North Dakota and Nevada," Veator says.
Veator says he heard about "courthousin'" through his motorcycle club.
The retired aircraft mechanic from Robins Air Force Base says the first courthouse he ever collected was the old Crawford County Courthouse in Knoxville.
"Every courthouse I go to, I park my motorcycle in front of it and take a picture of it," Veator says.
If you're wondering, Veator's cross-country tours aren't really about a zeal for justice, or even for architecture.
Like most bike enthusiasts, he says it's just an excuse to ride.
