'The Suitcase Lady' to Give Talk at Macon State

'The Suitcase Lady' to Give Talk at Macon State

Jennifer O’Kelley - known as "The Suitcase Lady" - will deliver a talk at Macon State College that centers on a suitcase full of 19th century letters that she found in the basement of her Macon home. It holds stories of heroes, heroines, rascals, and scalawags - people who were living extraordinary lives during some of the most divisive times in our nation's history. The story in the old black suitcase is an engrossing as a fine novel.

O'Kelley will make two appearances at the college: 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 31, in the Arts Complex Theater on the Macon Campus, and 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 1, in the Warner Robins Campus Auditorium. Sponsored by the Macon State Honors Program.

This event is free and open to the public.
